Ukraine denies involvement in drone attacks on Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Plant – eNews Malaysia

KYIV: Ukraine on Sunday denied the accusation of Kyiv’s involvement in drone attacks on the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), reported Xinhua.

“Ukraine shouldn’t be concerned in any armed provocations on the territory of the ZNPP,“ Andriy Yusov, a spokesman for Ukraine’s navy intelligence, was quoted as saying by the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry.

Ukrainian drones attacked the ZNPP on Sunday, together with one on the dome of the sixth energy unit, in keeping with the plant’s press service.

The ZNPP stated the assault on the dome had not brought about essential accidents or casualties and that there have been no threats of violation of security limits.

Drone attacks on the ZNPP on Sunday brought about injury to one in every of its six energy items, however nuclear security has not been compromised, the International Atomic Energy Agency stated Sunday night time.
