SUNGAI PETANI: The short-term suspension of evening market enterprise operations during Maghrib, which can be enforced beginning May 1 in Kedah, only includes Muslim traders, stated Permanent Committee for Housing, Local Government, and Health chairman, Major (R) Mansor Zakaria.
He talked about that the enforcement of this regulation is in line with the choice of the Kedah state authorities assembly held on Feb 21.
“Non-Muslim traders, particularly in evening markets organised round non-Muslim locations of worship or during non-Muslim celebrations, should not topic to this regulation,“ he stated at a press convention right here at this time.
Mansor said that the time to stop enterprise is 10 minutes earlier than Maghrib and 10 to fifteen minutes after the beginning of Maghrib.
