Tree falls on road, monorail track in KL city centre during storm, blocking road traffic and disrupting train service – eNews Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, May 7 — A big tree in downtown Kuala Lumpur simply outdoors the Concorde Hotel on Jalan Sultan Ismail out of the blue toppled this afternoon, probably because of the sturdy winds and lashing rain.

News portal Astro Radio Traffic reported that the incident is inflicting a congestion on Jalan Sultan Ismail in the business district as authorities have briefly closed either side of the road.
