KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia and China have agreed to resolve disputes in the South China Sea by peaceful means, via pleasant consultations and negotiations, in accordance with the universally recognised ideas of international law, together with the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
