Flames destroy landmark tower as Sudan war enters sixth month – eNews Malaysia

CAIRO, Sept 18 — One of Sudan’s fundamental landmarks, a skyscraper that towered over the River Nile and housed the headquarters of a serious oil firm, has been lowered to a smouldering wreck amid heavy preventing between rival navy factions within the capital.
