PH candidate unveils five-point manifesto – eNews Malaysia

HULU SELANGOR: Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Pang Sock Tao has unveiled a five-pronged manifesto for the Kuala Kubu Baharu (KKB) state by-election.

Themed ‘Kekal Kuala Kubu’, the manifesto focuses on financial elements; amenities; atmosphere and recreation; heritage and tradition; and folks’s well-being.

Pang, who’s representing the Unity Government within the by-election, stated beneath the financial thrust, she goals to spice up financial actions based mostly on industrial growth in Hulu Selangor, apart from empowering the native tourism sector and entrepreneurship.

“I may also advocate for high-tech investments, which can create job alternatives for the native residents,“ she stated when launching the manifesto at a mega unity ceramah right here tonight.

Pang, 31, stated beneath the amenities core, she aspires to implement enhancements to the transportation system and public facilities apart from enhancing web velocity in KKB.

Through the environmental and leisure thrust, the previous press secretary to the Housing and Local Government Minister pledged to make sure KKB undergoes sustainable growth with out neglecting environmental conservation elements.

“Under the heritage and cultural core, I may also launch initiatives to protect and promote the heritage and tradition in KKB. I’m decided to protect and keep KKB as an impressive heritage and cultural web site in Malaysia,“ she stated.

Pang stated apart from that, she may also give precedence to the difficulty of individuals’s well-being to make sure nobody is left behind.

DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke, DAP nationwide deputy chairman Gobind Singh Deo, Amanah president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu and Selangor PH chairman Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari had been among the many PH leaders who attended the occasion.

The by-election is a four-cornered struggle involving Pang, Khairul Azhari Saut (Perikatan Nasional), Hafizah Zainuddin (Parti Rakyat Malaysia) and Nyau Ke Xin (Independent).

The seat fell vacant following the dying of incumbent Lee Kee Hiong, 58, of DAP on March 21 on account of most cancers.

Polling is on May 11 and early voting is on May 7.
