NIBONG TEBAL: A computer laboratory on the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Engineering Campus, right here, was 60 per cent destroyed in a fire incident right now.
However, there have been no accidents reported, as there was nobody within the laboratory on the time of the incident.
The Penang Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Centre stated that it acquired an emergency name at 10.10am and the workforce of the Nibong Tebal Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) was rushed to the scene.
Upon arrival, the fire division discovered that the computer laboratory was engulfed in flames.
“The fire division put out the fire, which destroyed greater than 60 per cent of the laboratory. The fire was introduced below management at 10.4 am, from spreading to different buildings,” he stated, right here right now.
