MIRI: Three people died and four others have been injured when the four-wheel-drive automobile they have been touring in veered off the street and crashed close to Rumah Ngindang, Km 116 Jalan Suai-Niah yesterday night.
In an announcement issued late final night time, a spokesman from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Operations Centre revealed that they obtained a misery name at 6.55 pm, and the Emergency Medical Rescue Service, together with groups from the Niah Fire and Rescue Station and the Lopeng Fire and Rescue Station, have been deployed to the scene.
The deceased have been two males and one girl, whereas the injured comprised two males, one girl, and a younger lady.
The deceased people have been recognized as Evelyn Shely Manyie, aged 26; Eddy Indau, additionally 26; and Jenging Tinsok, aged 39.
Among the injured have been two males, Garry Galviston Mantau, 34, and Kulam Letan, 26, together with a girl, Scrivia J. Sylvester, 39, and a three-year-old lady named Evva Shakilla Bandai Evelyn Shely.
The accident concerned a Isuzu Dmax four-wheel-drive automobile carrying seven passengers, which had veered off onto the street shoulder.
“Two of the victims have been rescued by bystanders and handed over to the Ministry of Health earlier than the arrival of the Fire and Rescue groups,“ the spokesman added.
