MOSCOW: A Boeing 747-8 of German flag air service Lufthansa flying from Frankfurt am Main to Chicago on Thursday had to flip round over the Atlantic Ocean due to a wierd scent within the flight deck, Sputnik quoted German day by day Bild report.
“Lufthansa flight LH430 from Frankfurt to Chicago returned to Frankfurt right this moment as a precautionary measure. The purpose for this was an unidentifiable scent of electrics within the cockpit. The Boeing 747-8 landed usually in Frankfurt, and all 320 passengers and 19 crew members exited the plane usually. The plane is at present being examined by technicians, the reason for the scent remains to be unclear,“ a Lufthansa spokesperson advised the newspaper.
