N.Sembilan to implement five flood mitigation projects – eNews Malaysia

SEREMBAN: The federal authorities has permitted five flood mitigation projects (RTB) to be carried out in Negeri Sembilan, that are set to begin on the finish of this yr and early subsequent yr.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun mentioned the projects are the Sungai Pedas Integrated River Basin Development Project (PLSB) in Rembau; the Sungai Raya and Sungai Solok RTB in Port Dickson; the Sungai Jelai RTB, Kuala Pilah and the Sungai Linggi PLSB, Phase Five from Rantau to Ampangan in Seremban.

“Some RTBs have already been carried out and these five are the newest ones to be permitted, which is a constructive improvement.

“Regarding the associated fee, we don’t have the main points but as they’re at present being labored out and tenders are being opened. These projects can be carried out in levels, and insya-Allah, they are going to be totally accomplished by 2030,” he advised a press convention after chairing the state govt council assembly immediately.

Aminuddin mentioned the federal authorities had additionally permitted the bridge connecting Bukit Pelandok, Port Dickson and Sungai Pelek in Sepang, Selangor.

“We hope that the development of those projects will additional speed up improvement in our state,” he mentioned.

Meanwhile, Aminuddin mentioned the state authorities would welcome any plan to revive the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) venture, which was beforehand cancelled.-eNM
